Description
This certificate will cover leadership and strategic planning, project management, event planning, crisis communication, and a capstone. It may be completed independently or alongside the AAS in Arts Entrepreneurship and Management program.
Preparation
Students interested in this certificate should be resourceful, flexible, creative problem solvers, interested in art, music, or theatre, and thirsty for lifelong learning opportunities. Excellent writing skills, oral communication skills, and interpersonal skills are crucial to a successful career in arts management. Previous experience studying music, theatre, or art is helpful.
Requirements
Students who complete the curriculum requirements receive a Program Certificate in Event Planning.
